E-mail Scam targets Financial Information
An e-mail fraudsters use the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. trying to personal and financial information is not new regulations, federal investigators say.
“It is always a very rapid growth of fraud,” said the spokesman for the FBI, Paul Bresson, in Washington, DC: “We are actively investigating to determine the origin of these messages.”
