Timeshare booming market but it is not for everyone
My partner and I recently had a two-hour tour by the Newport Coast Villas, hundreds of bedrooms, two timeshare units in a Spanish-style structures with the cascade down the hill toward the sea in Nearby Newport Beach.
For prices starting at $ 21900, we could buy a week here forever, our Marriott salesman, Todd Granato, told us. If this is not paradise for us, we could trade our week for another at hundreds of other clubs vacation time-share or use frequently invited to buy standard Marriott points around the globe.
In the long term, taking into account inflation, Granato said, buying a time-sharing time arrivals hotel rooms. Furthermore, he added, “the more you pay Marriott’s mortgage or your own?”
It was a soft sell disarming. But I was not convinced.I figured Marriott on our right to use $ 21900 in the distance, so that we can benefit from it gradually and its mandate. What would happen if we could not trade for the week and place we wanted or if Marriott made it more difficult, our points? What would happen if we need to sell our timeshare?
I have missed something. Or perhaps I’m paranoid. Because Americans are Time Share software component plug to a frenetic speed, and the two recent surveys found, most owners seem satisfied with their purchases.
